1. Is the candidate open?
Read as: Are they being honest and sharing their true selves with me?
2. Do I like them?
Read as: Would I choose to go to lunch with them or are they so-so?
3. Does their style mesh with mine and the rest of the team?
Read as: Does this person fit the culture that we have established at Google?
4. Do they care about things beyond their own success?
Read as: Are you a team player or not?
As can be seen through these four simple questions, even the people at Google are human. What are your thoughts?
